Discus Fish Care- Get This Wrong And Your Fish Could Die

Tuesday, July 20th, 2010

What I’m about to tell is somewhat sad. It’s about my discus fish. Before buying them, I didn’t think it was all that important to learn everything them. And I didn’t think to learn some discus fish care tips.

So, what ended up happening is a couple of things. One, I bought a tank that was too small. And two, my fish ended up getting sick and died because I didn’t understand water chemistry, water pH, or anything like that.

It made me sick to my stomach that I didn’t take the necessary steps to learn everything I could about keeping discus fish. I don’t want you to make that same mistake I did.

After seeing that it was my fault that they got sick, I decided I would try again, but before I did, I wanted to learn everything I could about keeping discus. I found a guide called Discus Fish Secrets that explains everything you need to know about discus fish.

It explains how to raise them, how to breed them, the best tank size to get, how to keep them health, and everything.

It’s full of great information. So, after reading the guide, I decided to get some more discus. And I did. They are beautiful and health now.

I’ve been able to breed them a couple of times and I’m glad to say that they are gorgeous. I love my discus fish.

My tank is beautiful and my fish love when I go in the back room where they’re located to feed them. They swim right up to the top to get the food from my hand. It feels good knowing that I’m able to take good care of my discus.

Now, don’t let my dramatized story happen to you. If you want to take good care of your discus and at some point breed them, make sure you use the guide. It will tell you everything that you need to know about raising and breeding discus fish.

It’s definitely the best discus fish book that I’ve seen. I’m sure you’ll agree too, once you get it and read it.

Discus Fish Care- Here’s How I’m Able To Easily Raise and Breed Discus Fish

Wednesday, June 30th, 2010

I have to admit that at first, keeping and caring for discus seem like a difficult thing to do. I’ve heard of people that have raised discus and the fish got sick and died. Or they’ve tried breeding them and the fry ended up not living past 4 weeks old. So, I knew I had to find some discus fish care tips. And I wanted some tips on breeding discus fish, too.

After learning how to care for discus, I can proudly say it isn’t as hard as everyone make it out to be. I mean… it can be difficult if you’re not sure what to do. There’s a lot that you need to know when raising your fish.

For instance, you should know about water chemistry and pH, you should know the best size aquarium to get for your fish, which filters discus fish prefer, and if you want to breed your discus (at some point you probably will want to), you need to know what to do to get them to start breeding immediately and the proper steps to take when the fry are at an early age.

I know all of that information can be a bit overwhelming. At least for me it was. But after I came across a guy named Rob Clark, I knew I was going to be able to get all the information I needed.

He has a course called “Discus Fish Secrets“. The course is all about discus fish and things you should know when raising them. This includes discus fish care, breeding discus, and raising fry. The course also shows everything that’s need for the discus fish tank. He reveals everything that a discus owner needs to know, whether you’re a beginner or an expert.

The reason I trusted Rob is because he’s been raising and caring for discus fish for over ten years. The guy showed me that he cares about helping other discus keepers and he genuinely loves discus.

I knew that with his course, it would be like having a discus expert showing me every single thing I needed to do to raise and breed discus fish.

I knew I couldn’t get that anywhere else and I really didn’t want to risk my fish getting sick because of me just trying to do it all by myself. I know a guy that tried that and his fish ended up getting sick. What’s worse is, his fry all died. Out of a couple hundred of them, he was only able to keep one alive.

I felt sorry for him. But I knew that if he had the Discus Fish Secrets course, he wouldn’t have lost all his fry.

But the good thing is he finally learned what to do to raise his fish and how to breed them.

And so have I. I’m now able to provide proper care for my discus fish and am able to keep them happy and healthy. Oh and one thing I’ve learned is a happy discus remains healthy. Their immune system remains strong so that they’re able to fight off diseases.

If you want to learn some discus fish care secrets, I highly recommend you get the course. It’s one of the best resources for keeping and breeding discus. You’ll be happy you found it. To read more about the discus fish secrets course, click here.

Secrets on Caring For Discus Fish

Sunday, March 28th, 2010

Read on for a few tips on caring for discus fish. If you can keep healthy discus fish, then you can consider yourself a pro aquarist. Not many can boast of this feat. But, the following tips can help you get on the right track.

Prep Your Tank

This is very important to do. If missed, it can mean the life of your new fish. What needs to happen before you even purchase your discus fish is that your tank needs to be fully cycled and prepped. Discus fish are especially sensitive to ammonia, so if your tank is not fully cycled, then the bacteria that eat up the ammonia will not be present. So you can imagine what will happen after you put your fish in.

Fish do pee and that pee is pretty much straight ammonia.

Feed Live Foods

There is nothing like fresh foods for optimum nutrition. Even for us, eating raw and fresh foods gives us the best nutrition. The same goes for your discus fish. When they are fed live foods, their colors just brighten up and they get more energy. It is how they eat in the wild.

Although they have been domesticated somewhat, they still retain a certain wild factor which makes them lean more towards live food.

Learn The Secrets Of The Pros

Keeping discus fish can be tricky if you do not know what the pros do. You need to get inside information to keep your discus fish happy and healthy. Many of these beautiful fish die each and every year prematurely due to stress. Yours does not have to have that fate. Yours can be the most beautiful fishes anyone has ever laid eyes. There is nothing quite like watching a school of healthy discus swimming happily in their well planted aquarium. It is pure eye candy!

The above discus fish care tips will get you in the right direction. But like it stated above, you really do need to learn the secrets of the pros. One professional is actually sharing his load of knowledge. He wrote them all down and is now offering it to fellow aquarists via a book entitled”Discus Fish Secrets“. You should definitely check it out.
