Discus Fish Care- Get This Wrong And Your Fish Could Die

What I’m about to tell is somewhat sad. It’s about my discus fish. Before buying them, I didn’t think it was all that important to learn everything them. And I didn’t think to learn some discus fish care tips.

So, what ended up happening is a couple of things. One, I bought a tank that was too small. And two, my fish ended up getting sick and died because I didn’t understand water chemistry, water pH, or anything like that.

It made me sick to my stomach that I didn’t take the necessary steps to learn everything I could about keeping discus fish. I don’t want you to make that same mistake I did.

After seeing that it was my fault that they got sick, I decided I would try again, but before I did, I wanted to learn everything I could about keeping discus. I found a guide called Discus Fish Secrets that explains everything you need to know about discus fish.

It explains how to raise them, how to breed them, the best tank size to get, how to keep them health, and everything.

It’s full of great information. So, after reading the guide, I decided to get some more discus. And I did. They are beautiful and health now.

I’ve been able to breed them a couple of times and I’m glad to say that they are gorgeous. I love my discus fish.

My tank is beautiful and my fish love when I go in the back room where they’re located to feed them. They swim right up to the top to get the food from my hand. It feels good knowing that I’m able to take good care of my discus.

Now, don’t let my dramatized story happen to you. If you want to take good care of your discus and at some point breed them, make sure you use the guide. It will tell you everything that you need to know about raising and breeding discus fish.

Discus Fish Care- Here’s How I’m Able To Easily Raise and Breed Discus Fish

I have to admit that at first, keeping and caring for discus seem like a difficult thing to do. I’ve heard of people that have raised discus and the fish got sick and died. Or they’ve tried breeding them and the fry ended up not living past 4 weeks old. So, I knew I had to find some discus fish care tips. And I wanted some tips on breeding discus fish, too.

After learning how to care for discus, I can proudly say it isn’t as hard as everyone make it out to be. I mean… it can be difficult if you’re not sure what to do. There’s a lot that you need to know when raising your fish.

For instance, you should know about water chemistry and pH, you should know the best size aquarium to get for your fish, which filters discus fish prefer, and if you want to breed your discus (at some point you probably will want to), you need to know what to do to get them to start breeding immediately and the proper steps to take when the fry are at an early age.

I know all of that information can be a bit overwhelming. At least for me it was. But after I came across a guy named Rob Clark, I knew I was going to be able to get all the information I needed.

He has a course called “Discus Fish Secrets“. The course is all about discus fish and things you should know when raising them. This includes discus fish care, breeding discus, and raising fry. The course also shows everything that’s need for the discus fish tank. He reveals everything that a discus owner needs to know, whether you’re a beginner or an expert.

The reason I trusted Rob is because he’s been raising and caring for discus fish for over ten years. The guy showed me that he cares about helping other discus keepers and he genuinely loves discus.

I knew that with his course, it would be like having a discus expert showing me every single thing I needed to do to raise and breed discus fish.

I knew I couldn’t get that anywhere else and I really didn’t want to risk my fish getting sick because of me just trying to do it all by myself. I know a guy that tried that and his fish ended up getting sick. What’s worse is, his fry all died. Out of a couple hundred of them, he was only able to keep one alive.

I felt sorry for him. But I knew that if he had the Discus Fish Secrets course, he wouldn’t have lost all his fry.

But the good thing is he finally learned what to do to raise his fish and how to breed them.

And so have I. I’m now able to provide proper care for my discus fish and am able to keep them happy and healthy. Oh and one thing I’ve learned is a happy discus remains healthy. Their immune system remains strong so that they’re able to fight off diseases.

Discus Fish Keeping Tips

It can be challenging at times to keep discus fish. Keeping discus fish free of diseases and maintaining their general health can be especially difficult. You may be uncertain about the steps you need to take to protect your fish from disease. I have a few discus fish keeping suggestions that I will tell you about. After reading this, you will be familiar with the techniques of discus fish keeping.

The one thing you need to make sure you do is have a few understanding of keeping discus.  If you don’t take proper care of them, you could harm them.  So, it’s important that you learn the proper discus fish keeping secrets that will help you take better care of your fish.

The suggestions for discus fish care are as follows:

1. First of all, you must keep the young discus fish together in a group. The size of the group should number no less than six fish. Discus are shoaling animals, so this is why they must group together. For your animals to maintain their health and be happy in their surroundings, this needs to be done. Other species of fish can be put in with your discus fish, if you like.

2. The water in the aquarium must be kept very clean, and no chlorine or heavy metals should be present. A water purifier will function in this capacity for you. If the water from your tap is of excellent quality, you can use it. Do not place your aquarium near heavy traffic areas in your home. The fish will become stressed, which will compromise their immune systems, making them more prone to disease.

The pH level must be correct too.  That’s one of the many things you should know and it’s discussed in the “Discus fish care secrets” course.  It’s a course that I recommend to anyone that wants to learn how to take care of discus fish.

3. Suggestion number three is to give your discus fish blood worms, pellets, or flakes to eat. They can eat pork hearts and beef hearts, as well. Schedule the times that they are fed consistently, so that they know when they will be fed and will fall into a routine.
